Oil corporations sought to use up excess paraffin that developed and, therefore, the corporation, Exxon, otherwise known as Exxon Mobile, took on Franklin Gurley as an employee, for the sole purpose of designing candles. Mr. Gurley created a variety of candles, ones used to celebrate Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter. A few of the diverse shapes for the celebration of Thanksgiving consist of a Pilgrim, an Indian, a Mayflower replica and, naturally, one representing the Turkey, a huge symbol of Thanksgiving for many people.
A large number of Vintage Tavern Candles have not had their wicks burned, which is one reason why folks who collect them are still capable of locating them nowadays, and you probably will not wish to light the wicks either. Despite the fact that they are unlit, these cute vintage candles will surely bring their original style to your dining room table.
