Vintage Halloween Postcards are definitely one of my favorite Halloween collectibles. They are easy to store and usually can be had for great prices. I love collecting postcards featuring black cats, witches and pumpkins.
There are several artists who are popular among collectors of vintage Halloween postcards. Two of the most popular artists who designed postcards for Halloween were Ellen Clapsaddle and Kathryn Elliott. Ellen Clapsaddle worked for the Wolf Company and Kathryn Elliott worked for Gibson. Both of these ladies have a distinctive style of their own and over the years their artwork has become highly collectible.
You should be able to find plenty of Clapsaddle and Elliott cards in the vintage halloween postcard listings on Ebay. Have fun exploring!
