Napco is a popular name among ceramics collectors. And if you love vintage Christmas collectibles, you'll love Napco too. This line of Japan-made ceramics were most prolific during the 50s and early 60s and they made lots of different adorable ceramic figures for Christmas, as well as other holidays. If you grew up during this era, you likely would have seen aisles of these cute figurines at your local Woolworths, Marshall Fields and other popular five and dime stores. In addition to their popular ceramics, Napco also was quite active in the 1970s making miniature bone china pieces.

Some of my favorites include the Napco Angels, Christmas elves, and some adorable mice and reindeer ceramics. Many of the original Napco figures should still retain their silver stickers declaring either "© National Potteries Co. Cleveland O. Made in Japan" or "A NAPCO ceramic, Japan". It is highly likely you'll come across some Napco ceramics while out visiting antique and junk shops, so be on the look-out for them. If you decide to buy online, be careful when considering purchases to make sure that the photographs display the entire ceramic piece as you want to make sure that there aren't any chips or paint scratches, etc. Overall, I think you will find that Ebay is your best source of Napco Christmas figurines.
