The Beistle Company was founded in 1900 and are still in business today. They manufacture paper goods and some of their most popular items are paper party decorations for Halloween, Christmas and other holidays.
During World War I, sales of Beistle's paper goods benefitted directly from the lack of German-produced items in the US market and so their Halloween decorations, in particular, became very popular. They made items such as die-cuts and honeycomb pieces that you could use as centerpieces on your table.
